Privacy Policy

This page explains what Greenlint keeps, why, and who else handles it. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your pages or findings to train AI models.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address and the team you belong to, which Clerk gives us when you sign up.
- Your projects: the website addresses you ask us to check, and their settings.
- Check results: the pages we visited, scores, findings, the piece of HTML behind each finding, and the full Lighthouse report and screenshots, stored in Cloudflare R2.
- Payment records: the payment provider’s transaction reference, the amount, currency, status and your subscription dates. Card and bank details stay with the provider; we never receive them.
- The IP address behind a free check: kept only to stop one person from using many free accounts, and erased automatically within 48 hours.
Why we keep it
To run the checks you ask for, show your history, apply your plan’s limits, bill you, and send the alerts you turn on. We also look at overall numbers that do not identify anyone, to see whether the product works.
Who else handles it
We use these companies, and only these, to run Greenlint:
- Clerk: sign-in, teams and sessions
- Neon: the database that holds your projects and findings
- Cloudflare: hosting, running the checks, and storing reports and screenshots
- Anthropic and Google: AI language models that write explanations and fix plans
- Polar: seller of record for payments from outside Indonesia
- Duitku: payments in Indonesian rupiah
- Resend: account and alert emails
Anything we send to an AI language model goes through its paid service, whose terms forbid using it to train that company’s models.
How long we keep it
IP addresses are erased within 48 hours. Check history is kept as long as your plan includes it: the free plan keeps your latest check, paid plans keep them all. Older checks, with their reports and screenshots, are deleted automatically. Account and payment records are kept while your account exists, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Deleting your account deletes your projects, checks and findings.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, and one more that remembers which project you last opened in the dashboard, for up to a year. Your light or dark theme choice is stored only in your browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can see and edit your projects and checks in the dashboard, and delete your account at any time. To get a copy of your data, fix something, or delete something specific, email support@greenlint.app from the address on your account. We reply within 7 business days.
Security and changes
Your data is encrypted while it travels, and each team can only see its own data. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you. When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too, and we email you before any important change takes effect.
